Epic 4G Graphics Test

What's with the weird blocks on the screen's video for the demo video the guy plays of modern family? I assume that's just the camera or video source or something and not the screen as it doesn't seem to be constant, but it looks really bad.

Also he keeps hitting buttons that don't work. He thought he could use the dpad for asphalt at first, and he keeps pushing X instead of O in FF7, and tapping other random keyboard buttons it seems. weird.

The blocks are the camera. It's hard to shoot a screen with another camera... never turns out well.

And, I apologize for using the wrong buttons... I've never played with the PSX emulator... never played FF7. And I've never tried Asphalt. I was just testing to see if those things worked.

I think he was trying to figure out how to run instead of walk at that incredibly slow pace in FFVII. He might have been hoping using the screen instead of the keys or maybe hitting L/R would speed him up. Its been a long time since I played 7 so I don't remember if its even possible to run at that point.

EDIT: Sorry I didn't see the post explaining the button pressing, ignore my stupidity.

I'm going to chalk it up to the pentile matrix technology of the super amoled screen. you won't notice in person but it shows up on video. the red/blue pixels are double sized and the green pixel is regular sized. I noticed other weird patterns on other videos of the galaxy, ex. @ 2.15 mark, (YouTube - iPhone 4 Retina Display vs Samsung Captivate Super AMOLED) or this @ 4.15 (YouTube - Samsung Captivate vs. Apple iPhone 4)
notice how it doesn't show up on the iphone 4. i could be completely wrong on this though, its possible it's just the coating used on the glass.
