Help HTC Desire - Phone Volume Help Needed.

Hi there!

I'm a brand new HTC Desire user, and on the advice of some friends I've installed Meridian media player and Audiomanager (among other apps, of course). The problem I have is that the minimum volume for media is still too loud for me while listening to music at work. Is there any way I could say, lower the overall volume of the phone? Or is there another audio management app that could help me?

Secondly, what kind of app can people suggest as an equalizer for adjusting bass/treble etc?

Many, many thanks in advance!

FYI,
that's the same problem as discussed in this thread:

That Mixzing thing, the EQ is only for sounds played through that player, yes? It's not for all my other apps, such as my podcasts, is it?

1. Yes the EQ is just for audio played through MixZing.

2. Podcasts aren't as yet officially supported in MixZing, however if you put your podcasts in the music folder MixZing should pick them up. Also some people say they can see there podcasts in the MixZing library without moving them.

Podcasts will be apparently supported at a later date with an update.

Give the free version a try and have a play about, if it doesn't work how you like you can always uninstall
