Accessories Battery options?

It is my understanding that the battery on the Evo will last approx 12 hours. For normal usage that is fine (for me) but when i travel I tend to use the phone more (watch movie on the planes, browse at the airport and stuff like that) so I doubt the battery would last the full day. As this is during travel charging is not much of an option so what options are there for a second or larger battery (in some other thread it is said to avoid the seido batteries so are there other options?)

Pick up the 2-battery + charger combo on ebay from Hong Kong for $10. The batteries seem to last as long as the stock and the external charger is a great addition. At first I wasn't sure why I bought the combo, but there have been many times since getting them that I just throw an extra battery in my pocket so i don't have to worry about charging it.

Totally agree with this recommendation. I saw these on ebay and almost bought them JUST B/C it was a great deal. Not really doing much traveling this year so I decided to hold on to my $10 seeing as how i'm a broke grad student .

If you're just looking for traveling/watching in an airport/on a plane/blah try the 8000mah Engergizer travel battery. They also have an 18,000mah battery as well. Instead of having to change batteries you just plug the phone into it when stationary. Works great, isn't that big, and has much more capacity than extra batteries. It will also power other devices if needed such as laptops etc. They've been on sale for as low as $40 recently for the 8000mah model.

go to the accessories page and read the 3000mah battery thread. Alot of us bought from the listing posted on the first post of the thread and are extremely happy. You get two 3000mah batteries and they are great. I go 8hrs of normal to heavy use and get home with a 65% or 60% battery! it makes the back of the phone a little bigger, but in reality its not ugly looking and the case looks like it would be a stock case! a little bit of thickness for a whole lot of fun and piece of mind!

I wish I could keep my white back w/the bigger batteries.

That's why I bought the Engergizer instead, I like my case and don't like the added thickness/back wart. If I burn through the existing battery it's usually doing something I can use the external battery just as easy such as tethering. I don't have to mess around with taking off the case/back/blah, just plug it in. And it will work for a multitude of other devices as well. Ultimately all have to be carried so no big deal.
