Root Need dummy steps for installing best hulu working 2.2 without wiping phone.

I want the hulu app to work, apparently newest leak it does not. I can do root and s-off, don't want to go through backing up apps and restoring. Want the most stable 2.2. Needs verizon's 3g hotspot working. Doesn't need sense.

What rom do I need, and what are the steps to getting this done?

If it's always recommended to do a full backup, wipe, and restore, then bleh...

Try SkyRaider 2.5.2 (Vanilla or Sense) or 3.0 (Sense only as of yesterday). Hulu works there and so does verizon's 3G hotspot. 3.0 has a better hulu app by the way.

I was running 2.5.2 (Vanilla) for a bit, and hulu played fine. The video-audio were off sync after awhile, and you couldn't do fullscreen, but it was a lot better than the 8/26 leak which you can't watch hulu at all.

I haven't tried 3.0 yet, but a better Hulu apk was in the changelog. Waiting for it to get out of RC.
