I know some people will not agree with me on this but read on. I picked up the Augen Gentouch78 from K-Mart 2 days ago. out of the box, it wasn't really user friendly at all, screen was slow to respond load times were horrible. SO I have been tweaking and loading all updates and even the modded update (do some research), I now ive got it running MLB at bat 10 (with full video) tapatalk, dolphin HD, robo defense (looks awesome btw), AOE Parallel kingdom (highly recommended mmo), picsay pro for photo editing (screen is great for this).

So after playing with it andd tweaking it for a few days, it is definatly a usable device for around 150, cheap maybe, but a great entry level toy for those who like to get involved with anything android.

I did the same. Had it for about 10 days getting all the software hacked an installed and was very happy. Until... The speaker busted and would not play sound comprehensibly. It just sounded like white/gray noise with a little hint of what the actual song/video audio was supposed to sound like. I could live with that but when the upper left hand corner of the touchscreen started to peal back, that was it for me. I returned it to Kmart for a quick refund.

But it was too late already. I am hooked on this platform. I just ordered a GPad G10 from pandawill.com: Buy Gpad G10 Android 2.1 MID 7 Inch 1080P 3D Games Multi-Touch Gravity Sensor Compare Gentouch78 compare price at pandawill.com

It has not been delivered yet but the videos and reviews that I have seen show that the g-sensor actually works and the onboard 3D GPU makes some of the mid to higher end games look great. The g-sensor is really what made me get this thing since I was hating to hit RotateD all the time to get the gentouch to rotate in the correct direction.

Well I have had my Wifes Augen for about 2 weeks getting it setup for her.

It has ALL the nursing apps she needs, plus every book reader format and tons of vampire books loaded.

PLUS and heres the biggie I have been able to compress the Blue Ray Special Edition of Gone With The Wind down to 1GB and not only does it play flawlessly (including the intermission) but with headphones it sounds GREAT!

Boy is she going to be happy tomorrow!

now I just have to dec=ide what 10" i want or do I want to wat a few months......
