Charging Wildfire via USB on PC

Does it take longer for the Wildfire to charge via usb on the PC than it does via the mains as i left mine connected to the pc for ages and never got a green light like i do when its fully charged via the mains .

It does. The wall charger is more efficient than the USB (which is 500mA max AFAIR). It should charge eventually, though, but perhaps after 5-6 hours (I'd say less than 5, but can't really remember), not the 3 they promise for the wall charger.
