What folder to put a movie file????

So a friend sent me some movies burned to a cd to put on my EVO phone. I think they are xvid extentions. I connected my phone to laptop via usb and didn't know what folder to put the movie in? Do I need to download an app first to play it or creat a fold that says movie? Any help would be appreciated.

You cant play xvid files on the evo. You need to use Handbrake, and convert them to mp4 h264 baseline codec, at either 800x480 res or 1280x720 res.

As far as the folder, it doesnt matter, the videos app will find it as long as its on the sd card.

Video app? From the market? Which one

You should have a video app on your phone already. If not just go to the gallery, same thing.
