Help EVO wont sleep

What do you mean with doesn't ever sleep? the screen does not goes black when it's plugged? is it showing the same time for Up time as it for Wake time?
I ask since I heard lots of people coming to my store with "my phone does not sleep" and when I check on the phone the display is set for 10 minutes or never turn off, or it is set for Stay awake under development so it never goes to sleep when charging on the computer, or when I check accounts & sync I find that facebook or twitter are trying to sync and can't. so in order to any of us properly help this info my help. :)

He's refering to awake time which is the actual time of the phone being used, now up time is the time the phone is been running since last reboot.

@ Matt, most likely ur gonna have an app running in the background and is causing the phone to stay awake even after u lock the device.Like someone said a couple post before me,download spare parts or system panels.Or simply go to Settings/Applications/Running services and see what apps does it show running and you can kill them from there

For you and I this is what awake means, yet as I said for many others (not saying that Matt does not knows what he is saying) it has a different meaning, (for example: we had a guy that wanted us to exchange the phone because every time he was on a call his phone would go to sleep, when we checked the phone we found nothing wrong gave the phone back to the customer for the customer to test and make sure that it's working right, he makes a call places the phone on his ear then looks at it as it wakes up again to state that it is still happening... can we say light/proximity sensor?) working at a repair center and seeing this more than once I learned not to take for granted and ask for more info. However you are right about an app running on the background as well as to spare parts been a good choice as it is Froyo task killer.

Yes I like to talk! :D
