Help Facebook Widget Won't Update?

I have been getting a weird "error fetching data [null]" type error for the past several days. I went to the marketplace and downloaded Facebook for Android to try and fix the problem. It does seem to have worked, however now my facebook widget will NOT update. It's so weird because under the actual facebook app everything is up to date in the newsfeed... but the widget is showing an old status update from several hours ago with no changes since. the really weird thing is that it has actually updated since I replaced Facebook for Android so I'm not sure if they are even related. I have tried changing my syncing settings several different ways but no change. What is going on?!

I've gotten to where I just close the app when I see that error. The dev's are constantly changing crap on the app. Usually screwing it up for 2-3 days at a time. It's been that way since the launch of "Facebook for Android". I'm not sure what kinda "dev's" they have working for them but it's a constant issue. Break/Fix/Break/Fix and so on! They never seem to actually improve it. Just fix yesterdays screwup.

Yes I can not load any notifications for the past 3 or 4 days and half the time my news feed will not load at all and I can not delete and re-install because it will not let me uninstall either of them. Pathetic.

Yep, me too. Same thing. FB did add Places for Android users (not just iPhone anymore). Since the widget is not working, I having been going to the mobile app (either mobile.fb or touch.fb). Problem with that is........none of the updates seem to be in any kind of order at all.

It's FB. They will get it fixed eventually.

My Mytouch 3G always does this & i figured out how to fix it without uninstalling it. Go to setup on the menu...under accounts tap, facebook its going to ask you if u r sure u want to log out. Tap yes and then log back in. Works every time for me!
