Help Wallpaper that fits?

So I'm playing with my new Vibrant, and I came across and oddity. I wanna use a pic of my wife and I from our honeymoon as my wallpaper, and I only have ONE page (as opposed to the 7 pages Vibrant comes as default). But the pic does not fit to the screen. How do I get my wallpaper to fit the size of the screen?

i'm in the same boat, narrowed down to one home screen, and lose the outsides of the image. all i have figured is that in wallpaper, stretch the orange box as much as it will go, then try to center what you want in your background in the middle of the orange box, gets about as close to the whole pic as you can get.

I tried that but the pic is way zoomed in. Not the effect I was looking for. Was hoping Android Market would have a wallpaper maker app or something.

It might help if you can post a sample picture of what you're trying to do. Like what the picture looks like and what you want to be centered on the home screen.

The way I look at it is, a wallpaper should be 960x800, your home screen is 480x800, so you can kind of figure out that the center 480 pixels of the 960x800 will be shown on your home screen. So if you divide a 960x800 by 4 parts, the middle 2 parts will show on your home screen.

LauncherPro has a feature that allows you to not move the background when scrolling through pages, this will allow you to see the same middle area of your 960x800 wallpaper on every screen.

Hope this clears it up for you, but it really helps to know what exactly you're trying to do.

Well I even took one of the default pics that come with my Vibrant (one with the San Fransisco bridge along the water) and when I only have one screen, only part of the pic is shown. I want the whole pic to fit on the background. Kind of like how Windows XP wallpapers fits to the width and resolution.
