I just noticed something and i wanted to know if it was a bug on 2.2. When i move an app 2 sd card is moves but if you go to the market it shows up as if it isnt installed. Does this also happen to you guys? My only concern is that i will not get any updates though the market if the app is "not installed" according to the market. Can someone tell me whats going on? I am running
Chevys SS 4.7 can this be a bug on his rom? thx

If you force the app to be installed to the SDCard (and in particular if it doesn't natively support Apps2SD) then this may occur. However, when you first move an app to the SDCard, you may need to reboot for the system to become acclimatized to its (the apps') new location.

The best way to ensure you're moving correct apps to the SDCard is to use the market app called SDMove.

Also, you'll want to read this for more info on which apps you should not move to the SDCard:

App Install Location | Android Developers

I have the "official" 2.2 and applications loaded on my SD card still show in market as installed.

Sounds like your rom.

Or it could be that he enabled Apps2SD using a script o it could be that he force moved an app using Titanium Backup....
