I just got my new Incredible along with a Zagg Invisashield. Has anyone used these before. I am a little concerned about using now because after reading the instructions you have to put it on after getting it moistened. And then you are not suppose to use the device for 24 hours.

Could moisture get inside the phone and damage it. It did say to take the battery out before putting it on too. I just don't want to void the warranty if it changes the moisture stickers that would happen right?

Tripping the moisture stickers would void your warrenty, yes. However, I don't think you have anything to worry about - while there may be some additional ones inside the phone itself, the only visible one is on the back behidn the cover just above the camera - it's white with red dots.

You probably won't have any issues with the sensors - people install these protectors all the time.

Most people like to avoid the screen protectors that are wet-apply to avoid the concerns you're having - it's quicker and easier to install static-cling ones. If you can, you might want to look into returning the Invisible Shield just for convenience.

However, lots of people choose invisible shield, as well, and I have very little doubt that your installation will be fine - just follow the directions carefully :)

Have fun with your incredible!

I put an invisible shield on my ipod, Dare and my Eris no problem. Yeah the outside of the phone does get a little wet but as you squeegee the shield in place just make sure to have a clean lint free rag to soak up the liquid and you will be fine. You will probably suck the first time you apply it as secretlover pointed out. The Invisible Shield kiosks that you find at most malls will install it for around $5 if you're that worried about it. And you can see how they do it and learn how to apply your own.

BB also did mine. and dont believe all the negative crap you read about zagg. im in the flooring industry(commercial)and my phone gets dirty, grimy, dusty and just plane old messed up;) every single day. i use water and a tissue and to clean the phone(cover and the zagg)it looks almost as good as when i had it installed. I highly doubt any of the other protectors would have lasted a week.

meh, i just put tons of the solution on the screen so that i could move the protector freely into place. it was very easy.

powered on the phone 2 minutes later. tadaaaaa.

the reason they don't want you to power it on for 24 hrs is in case you got some of the solution on the internals of the phone. if you didn't know.. electronics don't like moisture :) this gives it time to dry.

I also got one on my incredible. I took it a Best Buy, they installed it for me and it looked like crap air bubbles and lines, so two days later took it back. They replaced it for free. But I was mad worried about stuff they put on my phone. But I got that done like two months ago and don't have any problems with my phone.
