Help Google Calendars

Please forgive me if this question has already been asked and answered:

From my computer, I can log into my Google calendar and not only does it have my personal calendar, but it also includes the weather, US Holidays, and various sports schedules that I have chosen. On my Droid X, I was able to add the weather & US Holidays to my calendar, but not the sports schedules. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also, I previously had a BlackBerry, and anytime I would accept Facebook events from my BlackBerry, it would automatically add it to my calendar (which was synced with my Google calendar). I don't think my Droid X has this same feature.

Again, I apologize for re-posting a dead topic but I appreciate any tips. Thanks!

I did quite a bit of googling a few weeks ago over this and never found a way to make the "other calendars" show up in "my calendars". The best I found was a suggestion to go to the gmail calendar from your PC and left click on an event in other calendars and the click the "copy to my calendar" link. That works, but unfortunately you have to do that with every single event. It was a serious PITA to have to do that with all the birthdays and other events that I wanted to sync with my phone and my desktop calendar client. Sorry I can't give a better solution than that, I struck out.

Not to post jack, but it is sorta related. I have searched the forums and haven't found what I need for an answer so I apologize in advance if this has been asked and answered and I just didn't find it.

I don't have to sync with outlook or corp email at all, but I can't understand why my gmail and google calendar have to be manually synched. I have my data manager set to push for email accounts and background data is enabled. In the gmail account settings I discovered it hasn't synched for mail, contacts, or calendar in a month. So I hit the button to sync now. I shouldn't have to do that, am I missing a setting somewhere?

I have RTFM and the one from Verizon is worthless, if you have another manual that I should read let me know and I will.

Found the settings deep in the GMAIL account configuration. Once again me being used to a BB for 2 years has contributed to my stupidity. I just expect that if you are in settings for an account that you get ALL the settings available for the task...not that you get more settings the deeper you go or the different screen you click on. Makes things tough to find, but still a better phone so I guess I will have to live with it.
