Memo application - Dropbox?

I think this may have been answered on here before but I can't find it.

Basically, all I want is a memopad with the following features:

1. Storage of text with a description and grouping of items
2. Syncs to the cloud/PC so data can be entered using a PC.
3. Offline mode so can still be read on the PDA even if no internet (this is why I'm leaving Evernote).

I'm at the stage where I don't think an app like exists for Android yet and am thinking I'll create folders for each group and a text file for each item. I'll then copy this to the device using Dropbox. Has anyone tried this yet?

Thanks

This depends on how and which services you use--I use gTasks as a note pad. I tried Snaptic, which was good, but it required me to use another Web site (besides Gmail) to get to my notes. Using gTasks I can have my notes in the same place as my email.

+1 on that - I now have my Mozilla Thunderbird accessing all of my GMail via IMAP, as well as synchronizing my calendar and tasks too, so I can use the web interface from GMail or use Thunderbird on my PC, and use gTasks on my phone.

I have gTasks set with a wizard on my home screen (main screen) so that whenever I wake the phone up it is right there for me to see.
