What's cracking guys !

Jimmy, I think that the slight similarities between your English and the cool vernacular used in many of the areas in U.S. cities referred to as "the 'hood," may be causing some to feel that you're attempting to imitate those who do reside in those areas (we saw this in another thread of yours here).

In my opinion, as I read your posts, they're mistaken, and it's just your transition from the language you were born and raised in to English that is causing those similarities, albeit by accident.

For example:

"What you talking about" sounds like a brother from Compton or Watts, but you are merely leaving out the "are" in the sentence because it's likely that you don't yet know that it belongs there: "What are you talking about?"

"What's crackin'?" is one of those sayings that's getting around.. just like "Hey, dude?" from other areas.. everybody uses those phrases now and I'm sure there are more to come, there has always been a steady supply. ;)

It's ok, just be yourself.

Well damn! That sounds a little more interesting than mowing my lawn... :(

Not when you got two big luggages + mini luggage you're going to drag through whole toronto and more after landing. :p

I so don't look forward for my bus/train trip there, I'm lucky to have a hot babe escorting me. (Roze, yes - maybe one day I get her to show a picture of herself! :p)
