Help putting music on my droid!

I made a folder as follows:
Media>>Audio>>Music>>(Music files here)

NOW that I did this, its loading all these midi, and mp3 files from games and apps that I have on my SD card, but not necessarily in my Music folder. Some aren't even easy to find, and require that you navigate like 5 folders just to find em. Can someone please help this is so dang annoying >.<

Delete any folder you made. Download Double Twist on your PC and sync just like itunes

I hate using sync software for anything. Half the time it just over complicates things. Is there any way to make the droid only look in one specific folder?

All I did was just create a folder called "Music" without quotes on my sd card and just mount my phone and drag my music to the folder from my Mac. The stock music player for me only sees the music in the folder..no other sounds. Maybe try that.

Yous talking about music......I have *tunes 50+ gigs of music alone(classic pod) and I found this beta program called Jam11(beta)http://www.jam11.com(in the market too)....W O W !!!!! EXACTLY what i needed....no sync no nuthn (and they admit they are knee deep in development) I utilized it this morning cutting my lawn w all of my *tunes w me on my Droid1 check it out!!!

Bleedgreen, I really need to know more about this. I am trying to find a Droid solution to iTunes with 20 gb of music (much of it m4p) so...clue me in.

What program is this and how does it work?

Yea I literally stumbles upon it w/ AppAware(in the market)
This is what I did:in the market-Jam11(beta)-downloaded it
went to Jam11.com(not much of a webpage but a tad of little info) downloaded Jam11(it will basically come up as a icon-windows 7)
When I downloaded app to my D1 it will aske me for my email(i use gmail) (Now I have all my itunes on a external 500gig hardrive that is ALWAYS hooked up to my laptop via USB)all of a sudden it downloads my 50gig of music(but its NOT on my sd) and viola I frkn have itunes on my D1 w/o syncing or downloading or nothing.

but I found out: your pc has to always be on (b/c) that icon I think becomes a "little server" that found my itunes"magically". You have to make sure that you are signed on w/ the icon(it SHOULD ask you for your email and password(that was used on the app) then clik "jamming" button and your app should buff a little to download(i found your music wont catch up to the buffing)beautiful sound
If your app shows nothing-unistall and reinstall(dont ask why- I did it, then all of a sudden my COMPLETE library was there)

I tried to be simply but HAD to explain to help understand what it is doing and help your troubleshoot better.
just so you know Jam11 server is down as of 0930 b/c upgrade/maintenance which is AWESOME b/c it needs work

Now, does it seem to work through the internet or is through you local router only...? Hmm, I am guessing internet if Jam11's server has to work for it...so that means it will work anywhere as long as your machine is on...

Yea no server crap like subsonic wanted to do(they S U C K ) yea brutha that icon is like a mini server(i suppose) always trying to figure technology. YEP always keep it on (set it to do that-it did) all I did was set my laptop to dim and turn off screen per my wife) i def troublshot that whole idea...also Jam11 server like i said might be down I received a message from them not an error message. If they do what I hope they do alot of upgrading it wil be awesome. I have thoughts on what i hope they do(like if you go by artist ALL songs are there alphabetically, but if you are like me you want the play just like it is on the album) thats why then you go to album TAB, BUT I have no earthly clue album names(alot of them)im used to going to artist and like the ipod it will have all albums listed under artist , jam doesnt do that .... as of YET...I supposed they will...and they want to come out w video also(which I have on my classic ipod) ANYWAY pm if you need !!!!

also the thing is if somehow that icon server gets turned off or something...whatever it is your SOL until you go back and turn it on..I will email the del to figure if there is a solution for that
