I took a few vids with my Inc the other day and i emailed them to myself.

The problem is that they were in a format that i couldn't use on my PC.

I am not all that computer savy but i have to think there's a way to email a vid from my phone to the PC in a working format.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Vlc player is the best media player hands down. Will play anything you throw at it.

I downloaded this and it comes with a lot of extra baggage. It played other videos I have just fine but the video I took with my phone I couldn't get the sound to work. Video was fine but no sound. I'll keep playing with it but so far I like GOM better

Surprised it didn't work right outta the box, ac3 filter is a audio codec that would fix that. What do you mean by baggage? Just wondering is all, If GOM works flawlessly then hell ya:D

Sorry I had to work all night so I wasn't on here to make any replies. Well I was in KC in a motel on my netbook and I downloaded VLC player from a vender site other than it's home page. What I got was that it wanted me to install a toolbar for my browser and make this other site my home page and to sign up for other things. I went ahead and installed it knowing I would uninstall it anyway. It wouldn't play any sound. I uninstalled it. I did a little research and I shouldn't have installed it from another vender. I went to the original site for the VLC player and installed it on my home pc and it didn't have the baggage or "bloatware" with it. It worked flawlessly. I compared it to GOM player side by side and they were about the same on video quality. I'll keep it installed and try it some more but I still like the UI on GOM better, it's a little more user friendly and stylish. I read some reviews and VLC seems to be #1 on a few with GOM getting great reviews too. BYE!

Any Foamers on here?

You can also send any file through Astro File Manager. Just long press the file name with your finger and select "Send" from the popup menu. Enter your email address and Walla!

Astro File Manager is ALSO a free app on the Market! Not Android phone is complete without it!

dumb question: I can't find the video folder in Astro when I open it up. What's it called? I opened the DCIM folder and only found 100MEDIA and Camera. Nothing in the Vignette folder either.

First, where are your vids stored, internal storage or the sd card. I have mine set to the sd card and they are in the DCIM folder then 100Media.
