Root Vanilla Lock on BakedSnack?

That is a good point. Perhaps I should rephrase my question.

Has anyone successfully swapped the Sense lock screen for the Vanilla lock screen on BakedSnack 1.7?
Get into the system/app folder, and mount it for r/w.
Scroll down to HtcLockScreen.apk, rename it to HtcLockScreen.bak.
Remount back to r/o, reboot the phone, and it will come back up in the vanilla lock screen.

IMO, the easiest, simplest way would be to buy Root Explorer from the market for about three bucks and change. It'll do the job in seconds. Rebooting the phone takes longer than finding and renaming the file.

You could also do it manually for free via ADB from your PC, or install a terminal app and run the commands from the phone. Root Explorer is much easier, and a very useful app to own.

Downloaded Root Explorer, changed HTClockscreen.apk to .bak and now am successfully running the vanilla lock screen with BakedSnack!
