How is 2.2 on your phone ?

running the RUU (RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.09.405.8_Radio_32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.20_release_140022_signed) version of 2.2

seems very stable and noticeably quicker than 2.1 over all.
flash 10.1 is great.
the speaker volume seems improved!
the battery seems a little better, but I never really had any problems with it on 2.1.
still have lots of apps that wont go onto the SD card :0(
mobile signal and data signal both seem slightly improved.

Carsn, reboot your phone, go into settings > applications > manage applications and go through each one of them to see if the "move to SD card" button is lit up. Leave apps that uses widgets and apps you want to start up on boot (day/night settings manager, launchers, live wallpapers, music players, etc) on the phone memory. I was able to move about 90%+ of my apps.

lol, yeah, thanks for that, I have done that and used the 'app 2 sd' app.
but only 22 of my 79 apps will go to the SD card. guess I'll have to wait for the developers to put it into the others.

I have 40mb free on the phone.

by the way, I cant move googlemaps, I heard that the most recent version supported being moved to SD? I dont see any updates on the market.

The latest Google Earth allows you to move it to SD.

I've been using 2.2 for about 3 weeks now and it seems far more stable than 2.1 I had prior to this. I've used the Wifi Hotspot a few times and it works very well, it's helped a few friends out when they haven't been able to get a data connection :).

I've not been able to move all of my apps to SD but most of the biggest ones I have been able to which is great. Oh and full flash in the browser is just great, there are so many other sites I can use properly now, it also makes all my mates with iPhones very jealous as it's one of the things they wish they had.

So far I'm impressed with 2.2, even though it's only a minor update.

Everything is fine, scrolling through apps is smoother and websites load much quicker.

However while using the youtube app if I use the hard key to bring up the search box when i try to type it jerks around on the screen. Also I seem to remember before the update being able to double tap on videos in the browser and open full screen now it only seems to resize the page which is pretty annoying.
