First things I should do after having 2.2

Guys,

I got 2.2 OTA update recently and so happy with the speed now. Native applications are blazing fast I should say.

But, I am at loss of what are the top things which I can/should do after having 2.2.

I dont use much of wifi hotspot as I already have internet.

Only other thing I can do now is moving my apps to SD card. (Any apps which can do 'batch move apps to sd card'?)

But, are there any best features I am missing?

Thanks!

Get the Chrome-to-Phone app on your phone, and then download the Chrome-to-Phone extension for Google Chrome browser or Firefox. Handy if you need to send anything straight to your phone, such as a link to download an app or a wallpaper. It's a great app that needs 2.2 to work.

You can also record video in 720p and you can also now use Flash 10.1. Then there's a bunch more under-the-hood improvements.

3 things:

1. Download flash 10.1 and Skyfire (flash is a bit shoddy in Dolphin)
2. Surf through the applications under settings and move them individually to SD, as well as installing ConnectBot and connecting to local and typing in "pm setInstallLocation 2" to force apps to install to your SDcard.
3. Wait for root (should be tomorrow)

As for moving apps to SD, only keep apps on the internal memory that uses widgets and apps you want started up when you boot the phone.

So does it make sense to move as many apps to sd as possible?

I've left a couple that I could move still on the phone - stuff that I tend to use a lot, like FeedR. That said the apps that are on the card hardly seem to load up any slower so am not sure that there are any disadvantages. If I get short of space and don't want to drop any apps then I may just move those last couple across

start a new text, then when the keyboard pops up look for the microphone icon near the space bar

hit that then speak - carefully! It's pretty accurate, but obviously some errors might appear (which can be quite funny)

Bear in mind, this needs mobile data to work as your phone records what you've said and sends it to the google cloud to turn into text (it's not done on your handset)

You can use AppShare to tell your friends about your fav apps

You can use it as a torch when you're in the dark

You can now watch iPlayer

You can speak to your phone for texts and searches, etc

Aside from that, it's just an incremental update to the Android OS!

How have you got iplayer working? I had it going once or twice since update, although i admit it was pretty jumpy. lately though, when i go on it tells me my device isnt supported....
