Root Still have slow refreshing icons

One of the main reasons for me to root was to get away from the slow refreshing icons on the home screen after the Verizon OTA 2.2 update.

I installed Lithium, but perhaps it is based on the same build? Is it the kernel? I still have the problem and it is very annoying.

Any way to get around this?

This is the original thread I was in. Is it that there is no known fix? Or is it related only to the Droid and 2.2? My wife's Incredible doesn't seem to have the problem with 2.2, but it could be Sense, RAM, or some other factor.

just curious, what did you ever read that said rooting would fix the home screen lag issue?

I have read and participated in that thread, and read other threads, and I dont recall ever reading just rooting would do anything to address it.

I think it is just a bunk 2.2 thing and peoples experiences seem to show that

You know, I just read through some threads again and I don't see anyone saying root would fix it. Maybe I just assumed it would fix it. Who knows?

At any rate, looks like we're all in this together! lol
