Gmail app is not updating e-mail and shows a "No Connection" message. Auto sync is on and even doing a manual sync does not load messages. I tried sending a test message and it never comes up. Does anybody have any suggestions as why the "No Connection" message comes up in the Gmail app, or how to fix it?

Hmm.. Wierd.
Try using it on WIFI.

If that doesn't work.. The only thing I can think of is to either:

A) Factory Reset

B) SBF Flash

C) Use the "Email" app and just set it to your Gmail account.

I did a couple of test messages and it does show Inbox (2), but it does not show you the new messages, still says "no connection". I'm going to try and add the Gmail account again to see what happens.

It's Def. a Bug.

I didn't know you could even remove a Gmail account without Factory Resetting.

Either way..

All the best,

Trying to avoid doing a factory reset. You are correct, you cannot remove a Gmail account without doing a factory reset. Will try and call Verizon Tech support and see if they have any suggestions, beyond doing a factory reset. This is a refurbished phone, that was just received after the first x stopped booting up after a month of use. This is my wife's phone, so just trying to help her out.
