Soon-to-go-Android, yet - Greetings...

Greetings populi...

Arriving here was purely by chance. I have been waiting to get myself my first business phone. Ruled out the Apples and the Berries.

It became a toss-up between the Nokia E72 & the HTC/Google Nexus One.

'til this one hopped along.

Decidedly desirous about the Desire. Will hopefully get one in the coming weeks.

Peace.

Why I became an Android fanboy | Deep Tech - CNET News

I came from a long line of Palm Treo smartphones, then went to an iPhone and now I am using a Motorola Droid 1 and enjoying it very much. It is very interesting though that for me the learning curve or "enjoyment curve" of the phone was much different than I experienced with the iPhone or the Treo phones.

For the first month I had the Droid I told people that it was "a little better than the iPhone in some ways and not as good in others" which I think was largely true...but it took more than three months before the potential of my phone really occurred to me. The look, feel, operation and application mix on my phone is drastically different than it was 6 months ago.
So now I would say my Droid is FAR better in than the iPhone in many ways, and not as good in a few ways.

Good luck and welcome!
