Facebook or Facebook for HTC Sense?

I assume that if you use the Facebook HTC it auto-syncs it to your contact list etc. Because that's what I did and it was super annoying to have to scroll through like 700 names in my contact sheet. :| I quickly "un-synced" it. I haven't tried logging in to the "regular" Facebook app yet, but I hope it's different.

ditto that...
use the regular one, but be aware some of us have been experiencing "update" notification issues, best then to goto the mobile site for content, use the app for uploads tho..avaoid the "sense" one...not proven, but i think it (htc fb for sense) is also a battery hog

ANSWER:
They both upload photos to your Facebook. FB for HTC Sense allows you to upload multiple at a time. You CAN add captions using both apps. The regular FB app allows you to choose which album to upload your single photo to.

So, if I am uploading a quick shot of a single photo that I just took, I will use regular FB app.
If I am uploading 8 pictures from a camping trip, I will use FB for HTC Sense, as you can upload them all without going through the same process.

BOTH post to you FB account. BOTH accomplish the same thing instantly, just in different manners.

So why are there two of them? Is it just to accommodate this one issue? And can you choose an album to upload multiple photos using Facebook for HTC?

Thanks Brent. Only...when and how do you choose which to use? I only see one in my Apps. I see two (facebook v1.2 and facebook for HTC Sense v1.0) under "Settings > Manage Applications > All". Thanks
FB for HTC Sense is not really an application. It's more of a work-in-the-background-and-fetch-updates/friends/pictures script. Yes, you CAN go to someone in your People app and view their FB profile. That is using FB/Sense, but as you'll notice, it's VERY limited. FB/Sense is something that is ran in the background, to fetch your pictures and updates and such. It's not a full fledged app. It's supposed to be used with other apps (FriendStream, People, Gallery, etc)

And as for the other question:
So why are there two of them? Is it just to accommodate this one issue? And can you choose an album to upload multiple photos using Facebook for HTC?
No, you CANNOT upload multiple photos at a time to a different album other than your "mobile uploads" album, using FB for HTC Sense. At least not that I know of.

I think I saw somewhere on my Facebook page on the computer, a way to change the default album of photos uploaded from your phone. That was a while ago, and I can't find it. Either way, you can't change the album from your phone (FB for HTC Sense), it would have to be from your computer, you can't do it 'on the fly.'
