Greetings,
As soon as the 2.2 update was leaked for the Droid, I downloaded it and applied it to my phone, rather than keep waiting for Verizon to push it out weeks later. The update process went smoothly, and I have been running Froyo for a couple weeks now.
The problem is, now my phone bugs me with the OTA update notification constantly, and the only options I have are to install, or install later. I have no option to decline the update.
Is there any way to tell android to stop attempting to apply the OTA update? I am surprised it is even trying, as its already running 2.2 so why would it still try and update?
If it matters, I have rooted my Droid.
Thanks.
