Passing Data through Bluetooth?

Are you able to pass files/audio through bluetooth to get things in and out of the phones storage? I am having problems on Win 7 64bit getting it to connect to the PC. Windows 7 64-bit on several computers is showing that it sees the phone, but that their are issues getting them connected beyond the initial pairing/password. I suppose a USB cable would suffice, but bluetooth would be really nice to use.

I am having no problems. I connected my phone to my laptop running win7 64 bit, it automatically installed the drivers and I was able to access the phone. of course I had to click the mount button on the phone.
I turned on the blue tooth on the phone and computer. The phone was able to see the computer. I connected. It asked a question confirming the connection on the phone and computer. Then I was able to connect them both via blue tooth and send data. at like 150k/s

I also have problems with bluetooth, My computer running win7 64bit can see the legend and vise versa but am unable to get past pairing to connection.

I also have the same problem sending any files to my wifes LG GW620, we can pair the phones but when I try to send pic or audio it fails, looking at the two phones menus the LG gets more options when you long press the device you are sending to, in the bluetooth settings page theres 'unpair' and 'options', if you go the 'options' route theres a connect screen, on the Legend there is no 'options' when you long press the device to connect to, just the 'unpair' tab.

Im wondering if there is a fault in the software rendering bluetooth useless on my Legend, I have recently got this phone and did update it via the phones menu to 2.1, do you think this is where the problem lies, I have read about the problem regarding threaded text massages being the wrong way round and wondered if the update could have messed up the bluetooth as well

Could be the bluetooth device being used too. I have one from firefly, works great.

Thanks for the reply,

Would you mind clarifying a little, do you mean the bluetooth device thats conneceted to the PC?

Also just an update, I tried sending a file to a non andriod phone with no problems at all, Im wondering in the automaticly generated passcode is the problem now, but maybe not lol

thanks
Bill
