I just purchased the Desire. I was a former Blackberry user. I am undecided yet if I will keep the phone as there are some features that are missing such as easy voice dial using blue tooth head set and the alarm clock feature. I am trying to absorb as much info as possible because there are many features that are outstanding. I am not as tech savvy as I used to be so this is pretty overwhelming.

Unfortunately I find that a lot of the amazing qualities of Android took months to really get a handle on.

I came from a couple of Palm Treo Smartphones and an iPhone.

Now after owning my Motorola Droid 1 for 8 months I think I have it fairly figured out and feel it is at least twice as useful and well-executed as I did 6 months ago.

I spent a lot of time reading threads and so on.

Welcome and good luck.

:)
