Uzu or Little Uzu for android?

So, i'll start off by saying I would never switch to the iPhone for too many reasons to list here. However, a friend of mine was showing me an app called "little uzu" and im so jealous! If you want to see what its like just search for little uzu on youtube. here's the question/gripe i have: do we have anything like this for android? and if not, WHY THE HECK NOT!?!? I love my Droid 1....wouldnt trade it for anything, but if android is growing so quickly, and there are so many developers out there, why hasnt someone found a way to either create something like this for android, or port the iphone/ipod/ipad version to android?

Because there's no android developer that wants to make something like this? Just like you have a few apps on android that aren't on iphone, you will have a few apps on iphone that aren't on android. You could try contacting the developer and see if there is a possibility of porting it. I've contacted several developers of iphone apps and got really nice and helpful replies. Things like this takes time, and I understand that the iphone app market is a big appeal since it has a lot of apps, it takes time for android to get those apps though.

Honestly.. its nothing more then a particle physics interactive screen saver. I really can't think of any use for it at all other then just to amuse myself for 5 minutes or so.

Watching the youtube of it already did that for me, so I really never need to see it again.

With all due respect, the question wasn't whether or not you liked it or "never wanted to see it again". The question was whether or not something like this on android existed. Thanks to those who replied with something relevant to the OP, though.

Your post made it sound like some vital application that was not available for the android market, and it ended up being nothing more then another worthless bit of eyecandy tech demo.

I've downloaded and uninstalled a dozen things just as impressive, and just a worthless. They use space I need for real applications, and waste precious battery power I can ill afford, like all the live wallpapers out there.

No offense intended, but but I just see no burning need to have it posted over to another phone.

In order to avoid some unnecessary bickering match here, i'll just say that i appreciate your input, as you are entitled to your opinions. I don't see where in my OP i made it sound like a vital application. I understand there are those out there who use their devices solely for "real" applications, but on the other hand, for devices so advanced as ours, isn't having the ability to display such awesome graphics a good thing? <--(rhetorical question) I mean after all, droids and smartphones comparable to droids ARE techy machines and should be able to show off their full potential as such, one way in doing so being "tech demos" like Uzu and Little Uzu. Anyways, the point of this thread was to get the word out to those who didn't know that app existed on iPhone devices, and to find a developer that would be willing to test his/her skills at app development or porting so that guys like me who like to kill a few minutes and wow his friends can do so. If anyone is willing, help spread the word about this app and lets see if we can get it on android. 75,000 apps strong, with not a single comparable app to uzu, and enough task killers and battery monitors to give someone a migraine is a little depressing.
