Help No update available???

So a few weeks back, my wife's EVO got the 2.2 update notification. I told her to just postpone the update because of some issues that were lurking for some people. I told her just to hold up until I could read more on the forums. So today, I get her phone and check for the HTC software update. Says nothing is available. Tried the firmware update as well to no avail. I think the update was downloaded and just not installed. Anyone know what to do from here???

Yeah, I don't think I am going to convince her to do that on her phone.
