The only hope is Drakaz for you guys. But in order to fix this, he will probably need Galaxy I7500L to test it, so that about covers it.
If you can send him the phone...
Gapps-froyo-signed.zip works great on Galaxy I7500, but with Galaxy I7500L not so great (can't sync problem).
Which version of phone have you? If it's Galaxy I7500L then I'm certain that the link for the working gapps will be much appreciated from I7500L users.
i see a new nightly update there this morning. thank you
i have i7500l and are having problem with gmail for market. was able to sign in on google web but not for market. i will try the new nightly update tonight to see updates in the build.
Installing the new nightly (September 10th), and installed the new recovery.
I'll update how this nightly performs.
Anyone understood why should i need the new 'easyroot' tool when i can root my device from the recovery? what's the use....?

quadrant - 442 - better the se xperia 10i!!!!
linpack - 4.8 - 4.9
and the camera now works perfectly, even better then stock samsung driver
great job drakaz, nopy and anyone else who contributed to this magnificent work
now if i could only figure why the hell yaam doesnt works for me so i could buy the updater
Who doesn't.
Will give it a try (new nightly) tomorrow. But the results from the tests, nothing until tomorrow afternoon. Anyway thanks Drakaz and co.
Regarding torch, it's fixed but nothing until the next nightly or Beta - which comes first. Plus some more effects for the camera. How more amazing could it get.
Now, if the camera can make some coffee and serve it with donuts...
This is almost perfect! The only problem is that internal SD mount worked for me once but stopped working afterward (tells me I need to format SD, mounting works great in recovery).
Also - adb doesn't work (telling me it's "waiting for device" like fastboot).
Other than that - this is the best experience I had with the galaxy! blazing fast (614 OC, I don't like 714), stable, apps runs faster, everything feels smooth.
Really recommend it, despite the bugs.
Just had a thought ( quite amazing considering the lack of sleep ). Unless there is a new gapps, there isn't going to be much of a point in trying the new nightly.
I ran quadrant benchmark of 1.6@710, 2.2@710 and 2.2@710 with JIT.
The scores were 291, 412, 424.
a major improvement, question is, where can I put in use that improvement? its quite obvious the UI in the latest nightly isnt snappy as the UI in 1.6 (1.6.3.4)

The nightly still isn't the Beta version of Froyo, also not a Alpha version maybe something closest to Beta. But maybe in the next release it will be better.
Btw, I like the new version of the nightly.
hi guys
i am running gaosp public beta 2 on my phone.i want to connect my phone to d computer using usb but i am not able to find d mass storage option in d settings.wat to do.help me out soon
my phone just doesnot detect d usb doesnot even show d usb connected notification so dat i can mount d sd cards.i even tried enabling/disabling debug mode.
My advice is to move to the latest nightly (camera working) - overall still has it's bugs.
You can connect to your PC by enabling USB debugging in Settings/Application/Development USB debugging.
After you connect your phone and PC via USB cable just mount SD cards.
Anybody know how to do the reverse tethering (wifi/usb) in the nightly version?
(I have tried to install the Wifi Tethering apk, it works well except assigning a correct ip address to client PC, so they can't ping to each other.)
i have a i7500l and was having trouble getting on data with 3g could get on with wifi.
