How come the groups tab of Contacts on this phone ignores your google groups completely? That makes the contacts pretty much useless to me. I have over 700 contacts and they're all grouped nice and neatly, but that doesn't seem to matter...any way to merge the phone groups with the google accounts groups?

Also Bing sucks.

I'd like to know this as well.

I have no idea and have a similar question so figured I'd add it here instead of starting a new thread:

I have a DINC that has all my contacts. Most are saved as phone contacts not Google. I could sync my FASC via Back Up Ass but would rather use google. Is there a way to sync all my contacts into google on the Dinc? I have all the sync switches on in the synch settings but the contacts don't show in my google account.

Thanks.

They should save to your Googe (gmail) account...at least I thought they did for me, and I just sign in on my gmail account on the SF and they pop up.

OK so its not just me. I have the same query with the DX. Sounds like an android OS issue.

Is there maybe an app that grabs all the datataggs in google contacts.

Side note: anyone notice that after you sync on the phone addresses come up as one line comma separated even though the fields for state and zip are there, they are blank.

IE Street: 69 easy street
State: Money
zip: 99999

Turns into: street: 69 easy street, money, 99999
state:
zip:

Amazing goggle maps and places doesn't care. But I find it a bit odd.

Either way, would love to have Google contact groups to sort by.
