Can't charge in car and use aux cable

I like to stream pandora while I drive using a headphone cable to my aux in on the car stereo. If I try to use my car charger (bought from VZW), things start to go a little haywire and the phone will stop the music. Anyone else have this issue? I've been troubleshooting, but don't think its the aux cord or charger.

I listen to Pandora the same way. I do not start streaming music until everything is connected and I stop streaming and then disconnect everything. Hope this helps.

I've noticed that if the aux cord is bumped, it will stop Pandora. I usually have no problems charging my phone and using the aux input at the same time. I set my phone on the seat next to me and it's when I go over a pot hole or something that Pandora will stop becuase the aux cord may have moved a little bit within the jack on the phone.

I am not sure if its related, but I have noticed that if you disconnect the headphones while using pandora it will automatically pause the player. so maybe a bump in the road is enough to think it was unpluged.

From what I've seen, that's it. The plug I have fits loose in the jack and the bumps are knocking it out a little bit. Not a big deal, just have to push play again. May get the car mount and see how that works as opposed to setting it on the seat next to me.

The thing is, I just drove 500miles for Thanksgiving, so I had plenty of time to test it. It did not happen once when the charger was unplugged. Eventually, my battery died and I had to plug it in. It worked for about 30 minutes or so and thats when it started acting up. Since then, its been working less and less.

I have BT audio in my car through a pioneer receiver and can't wait to fire up pandora through it. I still have two weeks before I have my droid, but from everything I've read, it shouldn't be too much of a problem to stream it through the stereo via blutooth. I'll have it charging through the car dock, streaming pandora, and working as a gps. Man I can't wait...

It's not pandora, it is the phone that pauses the music. It does the same thing with the music player too. If I'm not mistaken, iPods do this too, well, at least my old one does, if the stereo plug comes out of the jack a little.

I listen to Pandora all of the time using a BlackBerry Stereo Gateway adaptor into an aux input. Never had any problem with that in my car. It sounds good to my ear and even work very well than other things.

Which charger is it exactly? Some non-OEM (i.e. Motorola is the OEM, not VZW) chargers do cause interference with the capacitive screen.
