Hi all,

I am now a proud owner of an android powered device , the HTC Tattoo.

The experience so far was great.
However i have 2 small issue, hopefully someone here can enlighten me.

1-
I am not able to view jpg images in webpages using the native browser.
This is very strange even my old nokia E71 is able to and it is running on symbian:thinking:.

Is there any setting i need to tweak for this?

2-
I thought HTC claim the sense UI are able to run flash videos but i am not able to play the flash videos for the few site i tested:(.

Anyway help on this will be greatly appreciated

My browser {I have a HTC Magic} shows .Jpeg images perfectly fine.

2) The HTC Tattoo currently does not support Flash , The HTC Hero {which simply runs Sense ui on the home screen} does support flash in the Browser though. An update in the First quarter of 2010 is expected to be distributed to Android handsets to support flash. I can't wait :)

Hey carl

is that update the 2.0? and is it expected on all handsets inc the tattoo

Hi their :)

No It is separate I beleive Adobe are releasing the flash Update, Google releases Android , however flash requires version 2.0 {or higher} of android to operate. So Actually in theory it is possible Google may rollout version 2.1/ 2.2 of Android to our Handsets with Flash already in it.

So basically we'll have to wait and see , but what we do know is that it requires 2.0 + to use it.

Their is also currently no list of devices which will support or not , But I think it's safe to say if your device gets 2.0 it will support flash.

guess the only option left is to bring my tattoo back and ask for a one to one exchange:(

Try a factory reset first though
