Anyone know where to get some cheap camera stands for the epic 4g? I see a few on ebay but they're all from hong kong (12-20 day shipping), I don't know where else to look.

Thanks

So does this thing work for the epic or what

I knew I'd posted this somewhere.... It works outstanding with a naked Epic. Once I added a case it was a little less stable. However, even with the case it is adequate, does hold the Epic and it takes just a little care in touching the screen to make sure you don't push it off the stand.

But even with a case, I carry it in my wallet and use it on my desk at work, when watching tv with Slingplayer and carry it to lunch and use it while I read a book on my Kindle for Android app.

So overall, for $7.50, I'd buy it again.

The Crabble stand is pretty cool. How many times can you fold it though before it breaks?

I bought this tripod adapter and kickstand called a BuddyGripper (buddygripper .com). I bought it awhile back and haven't had any problems (I've definitely passed the 90-day money back guarantee). I use it with my iPod Touch and with my Android not only for filming stuff, but also to watch TV episodes (well, VideoPodcasts really). I've just started playing with Timelapse which is really cool!

It also came with a flexy-leg tripod which could be used in any camera which was cool. It looks like they're a new company but I've been happy with my experience.

Can anyone recommend cool time-lapse apps for Android? The ones I have for my iPod while both good, are both lacking. Maybe the Android market place has a better option.

Thanks!

JOBY LINK:

That's the one I'd recommend and the one I plan on getting myself.

I have the JOBY tripod, but I would be nervous to use a suction cup to hold my Epic 4G Touch. The suction isn't particularly reliable even on really smooth surfaces. You might be able to use the tripod if you used the permanent adhesive adapter, but then you would have any ugly bulge on your phone. The natural option beyond that would be to glue the tripod adapter to a case that you only use when you want to do some serious tripod use.

I really just want a case with a decent tripod mount instead of trying to make one myself.
