Any Options? Back to ATT?

As I posted before my Evo/Sprint no longer works at my house - or within a mile of my house. This just started on 9/4 and sill has not been fixed. I've spoken with about 20 Sprint employees, re-set, replaced but something is now blocking the Sprint signal in the sub-division where I live.

I can not afford to be without phone service at night. I really don't want to go back to AT&T so what are my options? How is Verizon? What is their best phone? Anything like the Evo?

Sell ur house and move. U wont find anything close to the Evo with the other carriers.

Have they dispatched a technician to the closest tower? Do you know where the tower is? If you do...how far is it?

The tower is about 2 miles away - everything was working until 9/4 - for three months - no problems - its not just at my house - anywhere - even outside within about 1 square mile it cuts off.

How do I get someone to come out and test? Sprint customer service doesn't seem to know what to do to help

Reported tower outages are responded to as quickly as possible by the carrier; they do not want to lose a single hour of air time, messaging and other charges to their customers.

The specific tower location/address must be called in to the carrier.

Call each company and give them your address. They will let you know how their signal is based on their CPU database. It's usually pretty accurate.

If you do decide to switch, read over your contract. There should be a clause in there about being able to use the phone at home. I have never had Sprint, but most carriers have this clause. It more or less means that if they can't provide you will adequate service at your place of residence then you are able to leave the contract with no penalties. Read over it though, just to be sure.

As far as Verizon goes, you will pay more, but you will also be able to use your phone just about anywhere.

I've heard plenty of people in your situation getting an airwave free. It will boost the signal in your house so you can make phone calls until the towers are fixed.
