Really, thats where I thought it got interesting. Maybe instead of burn the koran day we should have a burn a mosque full of terrorists day. Just saying.

OK so heres the deal.

This fake-umentry was shown to me by a coworker who was convinced it was not only the truth but was also scared of the consequential impact on the world.
She said that she didn't realize how many Muslims where immigrating to other countries with the sole purpose of passively infiltrating and taking over the worlds societies.
I watched it, yes the whole thing and I find it disgusting. After wating it I was left with this feeling of shame for the people believing it. You could take Islam and Muslim out of the video and replace with Jewish and Judaism and this would be a perfect video for Germany Circa 1930s. It is nothing but a rediculous propganda video.

This on its own isnt such a big deal youtube is full of tonnes of horribly false information such as this. What got me is how many people this has captured, it plays right on everyones insecurities and fears. My coworker showed this same video to 3 others in my office and I was shocked to find all four of them believed this to be true.

Even after searching the internet for debunking of these claims (which is NOT very hard) and pointing out that EVERY fact in this video is falsified I was still met with opposition.

Why the sudden hate towards Islam?
After all Christianitys own Jesus shows up in the Koran as a prophit in multiple occasions.
Islam openly worships the SAME GOD as Christianity they just have a different front man.

That truly shows that you have a fundamental misunderstanding of genuine Christianity. The Jesus mentioned in the Koran is not the Jesus of the Bible. The Jesus of the Bible claims to be not only the Son of God, but also God Himself. The Koran says that Allah is one and he has no son. The Koran says that Jesus is merely a prophet, not God. Jesus says that He is the only path to heaven, the Jesus of the Koran never says this.

Although this just scratches the surface, you can rest assured, that the god of the Koran and the God of the Bible are not the same person. Christianity is an exclusive religion. This means that all other religions are excluded from being the truth. Islam is also an exclusive religion, and claims to be the only truth. It is logically impossible for both of them to worship the same God.

I think you meant to say, "couldn't care less." "Could care less" means that you do care.

If you wish to be counted among unbelivers, that is your perogative. An unwise one, but yours never the less. However, I was addressing savoxis, not you, so just the fact that you had to jump in and say that you don't care shows that you must. Perhaps you aren't the apathetic person that you are ostensibly trying to portray. ;)

Historically It is the same man. Its just how they view him..

You could say christopher columbus discovered america. I could say he discovered america and he is the son of god... Doesnt mean its a different christopher columbers

One of the basic differences between Christianity and Islam is how the Bible and Qu'ran tell believers how to treat non-believers. In Christianity, God says to make all of the world believers, and if they do not convert don't worry about it because God will judge them when they die someday. In Islam, God says to make all of the world believers, and if they do not convert kill them.

In Christianity, God says that man does not have the wisdom to judge or be executioner. Those jobs are left to God, and God alone. In Islam, God says that man has the ability to do both......which is why extreme punishments are so common in the Muslim world.

In regards to the end of the world, in Christianity God says to live each day as though it were your last so that when that day comes God will save you. The anti-Christ will come regardless of what man does, so be prepared for those hard times. In Islam, it is a Muslim's responsibility to usher in the Islam version of the anti-christ. It is the Muslim's job to bring about the end of the world, so that a world under Alla can be born. Basically, clean out the trash. With the invention of nuclear weapons and other mass scale weapon technology, they just might try to take it that far.

Another glaring difference is that Islam isn't just a religion but a form of government/society as well. This basic fundamental makes it incompatible with our country/government. Christianity (along with most other forms of religion) is a religion and NOT a form of government which is what makes it (as well as most other religions) compatible with this country which is founded on it's government (read: people) and not a single religion. I'm tolerant of ANY religion as long as one of it's fundamental properties isn't the death of this country at ANY cost. It also teaches that there is only one way and those who don't believe are to be given an chance to convert or face death. This also applies to these supposed Muslims who "don't practice that way" or whatever they want to say. It teaches lying in the face of your enemy when asked of your faith if it furthers Islam. Other religions state that you maintain your faith even in the face of death. The Qu'ran teaches that there is no surrender unless it's your own. So surrender works if your loss is eminent. Yet if your enemy surrenders they are to be given no quarter, only the option to convert or die. This is the real Qu'ran and those who say they don't do these 'extremist' things are actually kafir (loosely translated to Infidel) and in the eyes of Islam are to be treated the same as Christians and other non-believers. People say it is a religion of peace which is true... so long as the entire world is under the nation of Islam. Until then there can be no peace and it's very explicit about this.

Islam and the United States are like oil and water and those trying to stir the pot to mix them up don't understand either one.

I don't even know why I'm wasting my time when it's pretty clear that this thread is filled with people who don't have the first clue what it is their talking about or disgusted with. Just a bunch of people who parrot something they heard as if it were fact w/o researching any of it themselves. No wonder this country is so damn doomed. Get a clue idiots and try to do some thinking for yourself. It's amazing what you learn when you're not just mindlessly repeating what some stupid Hollywood actor said.

Yes, but it's not about what others claim Him to be. It's about what He claimed about Himself. Jesus claimed to be God. It means nothing if others say that about Him. I don't care what other Christians say about him, or what Islam says about Him, I care that He proved He was Who He said He was.

Another poster said there are just different "front men." Well, Muhammed never claimed to be the Son of God, and never claimed divinity. Jesus cannot simultaneously be merely a prophet lacking divinity, while at the same time be divine and the Son of God.

Yes, the Jesus of Islam and the Jesus of Christianity are two different people, as are Allah and God the Father. In each case, one is real and one is a poser; an imposter. There is only one God, and Allah is not He. Any Christian who says otherwise belives that the Bible is not true in its entirety. One might as well believe in fairy tales if he believes that any portion of the Bible isn't true, and such a person is not a true Christian, and would fare just as well in eternity believing that Dr. Seuss is God.

So you believe that everything written in the Bible is true do you?

The Jesus of the Koran is the same Jesus of the Bible, with the divinity removed, for the most part.

It's more of the historical Jesus rather than a son of God, but still with a virgin birth. Moslems are quick to remind Christians that both Adam and Eve were brought into life without sexual union, so Jesus' birth is not unique in that regard, to them.

It's a different religion, there is no reason for their religion to be written by its founders with an eye toward the core beliefs of other faiths, although there is a sometimes loose relationship between Judaism, Christianity and Islam, especially regarding some of the early players such as Abraham, Moses and later on, Jesus.

Why must everything always boil down / result to religion?

Religion is a very personal thing... it is not the centre of everything. It is not the be all and end all....and

Are we not all different and unique....?

No single human being is the same as the other.... even twins think differently.... that is fact. We all have different opinoins compared to others due to genetics...

So why fight!? Why!?

It is so sad for someone like myself to grow up in this "modern day" world.

I just don't get any of it at all... :(

So you believe that everything written in the Bible is true do you?

I'll give you the answer that you are hoping for; yes, I do. Now before you begin with an onslaught of passages that you perceive to be obscure and errant/unbelievable, bear in mind that context is an extremely important element of biblical interpretation, as is a thorough understanding of the differences between the Old and New covenants, as well as the nuances between the Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic and Mosaic covenants. Another important element; perhaps the most important, is that God is sovereign and does as He pleases.

Did He say that shellfish are unclean? Yes...to a certain people for a certain time under a specific covenant, which has since been superceded by another. Did He order the slaughter of women and children in order to destroy a wicked and rebellious people? Yes. Did He say that women are not to be Pastors? Yes. Did He make a rainbow for the first time after the global flood? Yes. Does He choose to save some and not others? Yes. He does as He pleases for His glory regardless of whether or not it seems fair or logical to our finite minds. Everything He does is ultimately" fair," or, to use a biblical term, just.

So go ahead, hit me with both barrels. I'm sure that this is precisely what people come to a technical forum to read; a theological debate. We're most likely going to be told to take this to PM before this is over, because it has the potential to get quite lengthy, but until then I'm game.

Okay.... i myself haven't been a very good boy lately on these forums so i will try to be diplomatic here...

Why have you come to these forums urself??? Why have you come here?

You have posted nothing but rude speech here in Android Forums. You have contributed nothing here.

Why are you here? Explain please...

I mean no harm.....please understand i am just trying to find out why you are here.

Oh no. I've got more sense than that......and a lot less time too :)

It's a pointless discussion because you'll end up throwing all logic out of the window and tie reason in knots. Down will become up, left become right the moon will be the sun, and it will all be perfectly possible and logical because it's all God's will :p

I haven't been rude in the slightest. I've simply spoken the truth.

As to why I'm here, I just discovered this forum, and I am an Android and Blackberry enthusiast. If you take a gander at crackberry.com, you'll see that I have over 1500 posts there, mostly constructive and Blackberry and Android related. I am also a member of other Android forums, all under the same name. So although I may be a newbie here, I'm not elsewhere.

I came here for the same reason that I participate in other forums...to learn and also to help others with device related material. However, just yesterday I had completely forgotten that I had already signed up here, so I clicked on "New Posts," and this thread caught my attention. I would have never joined the discussion had I not felt compelled to dispell what I consider to be falshoods, so unfortunately, these were my first posts in this forum.

Not a very good start, I concede, but I couldn't remain quiet. I am primarily here because I love all things Android.

Well then, good show old chap. I see that you are confident that you have me pegged. It's just as well. I haven't the time nor the energy to engage in that debate either, although I was willing because it is a worthy topic.

Cheers :)
