Android Stock Theme
Don't like the new Velocity theme? Flash this just like you would flash a kernel.
Do not apply over anything other than default Velocity theme!

ENJOY! :D

question about this part

"You must wipe your data, cache, and dalvik cache upon flashing, otherwise you will have issues.
-I recommended using ROM Manager and ClockworkMod Recovery. "

do you have a step by step on this part to make sure we get it right? or will using CWMR in Rom Manager take care of it automatically?

also, all i need is to leave the stock Facebook app alone to make this complete, the one you get from the market is junk, thats the one thing LG got right, the Facebook app on the stock ROM is much much much better

can you give me instructions on how to leave just that one part alone? or how to add it back in afterwards maybe?

thanks :)

Just check the "wipe data/cache" field when installing with ROM Manager.

To get the Socialite (LG Facebook app) back, just install this .apk file after you install the ROM.

Yo, would letting ROM Manager install CMRecovery when I already have the GNM recovery image mess anything up, or is CM set up to remove it?
It's set up to flash over the GNM image. You'll be just fine.
It did :D its very fast and responsive. I love the theme it comes with and I like how you gave us those scripts. I won't be able to play around with it until my class gets out but so far I like it.
Thank you for all your hard work Trident :D
Awesome!

Thank you! :)

I am new to this so I may be doing something wrong. I have ROM manager and selected the velocity rom from the list. After downloading it goes through the whole thing of erasing cache yada yada then the phone reboots. When it comes back on it appears that velocity has not taken. When I go back into ROM manager it says recovery failure and asks me to input one of three options. ANy help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

dude i got you covered on the monster :) thanks for this Trident. This is amazing and I love it. The only thing is sometimes the txt in the On-Going section of the notifications is black which blends too much with black background. The only app so far i have seen that doesnt do it is Advanced Task Killer but other than that its perfect! Thank you for putting in the time and effort.

Yeah.. I saw that too. We're working on a fix.

Thanks!

Just check the "wipe data/cache" field when installing with ROM Manager.

To get the Socialite (LG Facebook app) back, just install this .apk file after you install the ROM.

i dont want the "Socialite" app

i want to stock ROM Facebook app, they are two separate apps

the one that is in the Market sucks badly, all it does is redirect you to the web page in your browser, the stock ROM Facebook app actually manages things in it's own GUI....please reconsider, thanks

Ok so I downloaded V0.2 from Rom Manager, checked the clear cache and data box, and it rebooted, when it came back up after installing, it did the LG screen, then it did the static verizon logo, after that the old android eye came up then it just kept saying force close everything. Sorry application Voice Search (com.android.inputmethod.voice), Maps (com.google.android apps.maps:friendservice), Setup Wizard (com.android.setupwizard), The process com.android.phone, com.google.process.gapps, and android.process.acore have all stopped unexpectedly and now I can't to a dang thing. I can't even get to the recovery screen by pressing the home and end buttons from a powered off state. I hope you know some cool trick or else I guess I'm the proud owner of brick.
