slide show gallery

I tried searching for this answer but came up with nothing...
Is there anyway to set a slideshow directory to only cycle through certain photos?

This is when you either have it docked or running the stock clock application. It's pretty cool at work to have the phone showing a slideshow but some of my pics are of like car parts or dumb stuff not really necessary for a slide show.

are all of your photos in the same folder?
I have not actually tried for myself, but am assuming that if you make a few different folders that you should be able to just slide-show one specific folder.

true BUT when docked, it just randomly pulls from all, you can't tell it to only select from 1 directory of images. that's the issue.

Exactly. Album art, downloads, everything on the sd card is fair game for the slideshow. Hopefully we can find a way to restrict the directory because it is a really nice feature of docking.

how about the ".nomedia" trick in the folders you don't want viewed?
only problem then is I don't think they will show up in the gallery, but can be browsed with any of the file explorers and view if need be.

wont work... that will keep them from showing up in the gallery at all then
