after upgrading to tazz 6.9 black rain and vanilla versions, chrome to phone will not work. my computer sends the link, but it never shows up on my phone.

I am running a froyo 2.2 rom and have had it working before.

anyone else have chrome to phone just stop working recently?

Works fine for me on kaosfroyo v34. In fact I just used it to link me to this thread. Try deleting it with root explorer, reboot, go to the market and reinstall

did all that and still same.
also just downloaded the latest c to p update and still no new notifications on my phone.

I think you two should ask each other which kernals you're using. :)
As I recall, Kaos has a link there to flash the CFS kernal into V34. I'm wondering if one of you has and the other one hasn't.

Is it because you don't have your gold card in the phone anymore? I debranded mine and installed 2.2 but then changed the goldcard for a larger size sdcard. Someone on another thread pointed out the need to keep the goldcard in the phone to get updates or something so I made the larger sdcard a goldcard, went through re-installing the 2.2 and straight away chrome to phone worked.

Could be a coincidence I guess.

by gold card do you mean a sim card? The Eris is on Verizons CDMA system and does not use sim cards.

previous rom upgrades c to p would work fine. is just this particular upgrade c to p ceased operation.
