Root Rooted Stock Evo with 3.21, now my wifi signal strength is horrible

Long time lurker and fan of the forums. I recently rooted my stock 2.2 Evo with 3.21 and it's awesome. Except I noticed I now have a very weak wifi signal. I would say it is a 50 to 75% drop.

Places my iPad has full signal my Evo can barely keep a connection. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated as I'm out of ideas.

I thought there was an update that had a fix for the WiFi reception? Perhaps your ROM is older than that update? I know there is a version of 3.26 floating around... and the 3.28 that i'm running is pretty nice also.

Thanks for the reply. I did all the OTA updates prior to 2.2 which fixed the Wifi issue. Now it's back

After rooting and flashing 3.21 did you update the radio's and WiMAX?

How do i know which Radio/WiMax/NV to dowload? Im looking in "about phone" and i dont happen to see any of those versions or anything else that would mention those 3 things.

mine is rooted 2.2 stock froyo.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't aware I would need to flash the radios as I was up to date with Froyo before I ran unrevoked 3.21 but I'll look into it.

I used unrevoked3.2 also. Had OTA 2.2 on there prior to rooting. Do I need to update the radio ? I have no 4g so don't think I'd need the wimax one.
