Agreed that there may be issues, but to me this phone is far and away the best device I have owned thus far (although some of you may not think that's saying much! (Treo90=>Treo300=>Treo600=>Treo650=>HTCMogul=>HTCTouchPro)
I use this thing CONSTANTLY, without issue, for:
1) Camera - taking close ups of electronics/labels/tagging, etc. Excellent for my needs. (Won't ever replace a dedicated camera of course, but if lighting is decent, and you take time to focus, it's great!)
2) Remote control/access of home computers - using RDP client and LogMeIn Ignition - absolutely flawless operation.
3) Music - plugged in to external speakers almost every day, almost all day (streaming via Pandora). ZERO issues.
4) Using Excel spreadsheets - I have many custom calcs/equations that wouldn't load/run on my TouchPro with Office, but open/work with ThinkFree. ZERO issues.
5) Texting - canned app - ZERO issues.
6) Excercise - I loaded about 40 80's rock videos, with some newer stuff (HQ/HD quality) and watch while on stationary bike - absolutely flawless. Best part is that I can just plug the MicroSD in to the provided Micro to SD adapter, plug in to the media port on my HP laptop, and copy files directly (no restrictions...). Flawless. Have done this via Bluetooth, but, of course, is doggedly slow in comparison.
6) Phone calls - many calls a day - Pandora pauses, call quality is excellent, speaker phone is WAY better than TouchPro, Pandora resumes. Flawless.
7) Phone calls - Bluetooth in car - My TouchPro wouldn't sync phonebook/contacts reliabley with my car, but this thing, thus far, is absolutely flawless. All contacts, etc. work without adjustment or tweaking.
8) Music - in car - long trips around South Texas, I use Sprint Navigation. Audio out (3.5mm) from Epic to Aux In of my phone. Sprint Nav works flawlessly for me, very close (at least as close as my Nuvii 760), no issues thus far (only about 5 100-200 mile trips, though). Sometimes the audio (music) takes a couple of seconds to restart after pausing for a voice command, but it eventually comes back on after a voice from Sprint Nav.
The above is my 'positive' experience.
Less than positives:
1) Email - sometimes seems slow to load new messages (Gmail canned app is the exception - very quick to refresh/update). I have three email accounts for various purposes, and the update rate is poor at best. Sometimes the new mail icon doesn't appear. I do, however, a text message sent to me from my work email for high priority emails, so I do get a text message for important stuff. Icon no-show is kind of a pain. No 'Mark All As Read' is missing too (or maybe I missed it?).
2) 4G - we have 4G service here, but it's spotty at best. Have had up to 3.5Mbps downloads on good connections. Even on 3G, no issues.
3) Battery is 'ok' - I'm usually plugged in during the day, so I am fully charged leaving work....
4) Don't use wifi much, may soon to check out DLNA.
Anyway - some of my quick notes on my experience, for what it's worth!!!
