Hello! I am considering this phone for my daughter, but also looking at the Droid 2. I have the Droid and my wife has the Dinc, so I want to stick with Android. My question is whether the Fascinate handles Gmail integration the same as our phones. I know Bing is the search engine, but what about mail and the calendar. Are these still Google-integrated?

Very cool, thanks! Are you liking the phone compared to the Droid? This is going to be a surprise birthday present for her in a few weeks, so I can't have her go down and play with them, and I am wondering whether she would prefer the new D2 keyboard rather than virtual.

I had a D1 but I'm glad I switched to the Fascinate. Still getting used to the rearrangement of the menu/volume/power button and having no physical keys. I think the most annoying part is not being able to type stuff out while viewing webpages in landscape mode. I hate how the landscape keyboard pops up and covers up the entire screen/webpage....I miss all the extra web viewing real estate you get with having physical keys. I'm finding that I stick to portrait viewing now, which is fine I guess. Was able to get rid of Bing for the most part so thats fine. No GPS issues yet either. Also didn't like the Samsung interface, but Launcher Pro took care of that for me.

Besides all of that minor adjustment stuff I am completely smitten. I was keen on a D2, but after my co-worker showed me his Vibrant I was set on the Fascinate. Its just a gorgeous piece of gadgetry. :D

Yes, that whole screen real estate issue is what I am worried about for myself if I want to switch to an X or whatever is coming next. I checked out the Fascinate at my local store today and it is very cool, even with the UI. X is too big for her, and Droid 2 may still be too "masculine". Incredible is an option (my wife loves hers), but it would be nice for her to have something different.
