Looks awesome. I would not be surprised if we don't get it though. Might be something used to sell the newer phone models rather than something to satisfy owners of older handsets.

Android is still the base OS but they are just adding new features and optimizations built into their user interface overlay.

The only thing I think we currently have is the ringing modes (as in flip to silence and the ring volume decreasing when you pick up the phone). I think everything else is new (I really like the remote stuff and the non-invasive incoming call alert).

if im not mistaken arent both the phones shown in the video Android, runnning the new htc sense ? If so .. looks like android gets the new sense first.

I think you're correct. I think he was just saying something about their upcoming Windows devices and not the two phones being showcased. I stand corrected on that one.

Too bad the hardware is crap.

Think of the company logic:

Press conference with employees that clearly learned English as a second language.
Continual design flaws that reoccur in new models.

I hate Apple, but they seem to be the only company that can make nice smartphone hardware.

The Desire HD is what the Evo should have been...but the camera is still jacked up.
