Voice to Text for Vibrant

I tried Shoutout for voice to text on my Vibrant but it says the phone is not supported. Does anyone have a suggestion for such an app? I want to be able to record stuff to send as mail and so on.

Some of the stuff on these boards is over my head, but I searched voice to text and didn't fine anything.

Hi Pat, and welcome to the board. You will pick up all things Android, just hang around and be patient.

Meanwhile, I just use the Android Keyboard for Speech to Text.

1) From the Home screen, touch Applications -> Settings -> Locale and text -> Set Default Keyboard -> Android Keyboard.
2) Touch Android keyboard.
3) Tap the text field of your outgoing message or note, then tap the microphone symbol on the keyboard.
