Working Facebook Chat app?

As the title says, I'm looking for an app for Facebook Chat. I've tried Meebo, but I don't need anything other than Facebook chat, and Meebo doesn't work right now anyways. Any suggestions?

Nimbuzz is another one of these all-in-one apps, that's not what I want.

As I said, I am looking for something that only does Facebook Chat. I don't need some slow, bloated messaging app with a bunch of other services I don't use, Just a small fast, easy-to-use Facebook Chat app. Who still uses AIM or Myspace?

Nimbuzz includes aim msn yahoo icq and all that. I believe Bloo - Facebook 1.4.2 is a recommended facebook chat app. Haven't use myself though, let me know your feedback if you try this.

I use Bloo now. It is a great app, but it doesn't have chat, sadly.

Because it's slow and is prone to disconnects.

Agreed, and obviously the technology is there since it's built into several other apps. I'm not sure if eBuddy IM and others woudl be quicker, but there are several other multi chat clients that u may find work better for you than nimbuzz.

Hey guys,
Did you all try Ebuddy? it has facebook, aim, ICQ and other in it as well.. You tell it what you want to use it for. So if you just want facebook, you log into your facebook account and it will allow you to chat. I dont find it bloated. Worth a try

eBuddy FTW. It never disconnects for me and isn't slow at all.

Just DL'ed it - works like a charm. Very clean - OP, you really should try it. If all you load is your FB account, as soon as you click on the icon, it takes you right to your FB chat list. Heck, change the name of the icon and change the icon itself if you want

IM+ disconnect all the time and the interface is ugly for Android. eBuddy has never disconnected for me and has a nice interface.

Tested it out (at least for the few days I've had it) no issues with disconnecting. Great interface

Mine never disconnects me, it works pretty well.

Seems good so far. Is it possible to change it to where both sides of the conversation appear on the left? Also, can it be changed to 12 hour format? I haven't yet found options for this stuff.

When I used ebuddy it kept messing up my account, I had to reset the password a few times I'm gonna try the other one.

Fb chat works.

I thought I read somewhere that bloo drains the battery rather quickly. Can anyone state whether this is true.

I'm having a weird problem with ebuddy. It connects to all my chats fine but my Facebook buddy list seems to be off. If i log onto the FB website from my PC browser I see certain people online in chat, but when I check my list on ebuddy some people are not there. I tried signing on and off to refresh the list but no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Forget ebuddy. The new Trillian beta is out and works like a charm. The ui is a lot nicer than all the others. Trillian for Android
