So I recently rooted for the first time and decided to flash fresh 3.2 after some research. This was my process: did full app and data backup with titanium, wiped everything, flashed, restored all using titanium. Before flashing I was getting around 16 to 20 hours battery life, now with fresh I'm averaging 10 or less. Up time is 20 awake is 5, checked auto cdma prl, talk sign in, not synching, and usage is same as before. It says android system is using a big portion of my battery which it never was this high before.

I was led to believe fresh was better for my battery but I'm not seeing it. My question is did I do something wrong in flashing backing up restoring or am I missing something or something more I should do? Also any other rom suggestions I could try out fresh has also been a bit laggy for me.

do you use facebook? if not i suggest removing it completely from your phone. if you do i would remove it as a test, you can always flash the rom back over to get it back and access facebook from your web browser while testing.

also if you just flash the rom you will need to relearn the battery stats in your phone. run it down until it shuts off then charge to full a couple of times.

It's killing my battery life too... not sure why...

My battery life has been awful since I bought the phone but I've tried to be patient. I put Fresh on last week and saw an improvement but a very small one. I'm burning about 5-6% per hour idle and trying several tweaks but so far no luck.

The apps I worry about the most are Handcent, Touchdown (push email) and Facebook. Unfortunately I feel I need all three so I don't have many options.
