I was at the local mall this weekend. I usually stop by the phone stores to play. I was speaking with a rep at a verizon reseller and he mentioned that the 4 incredibles they got in all came with the extended battery and back cover. He pulled one out and he was not kidding. The phone did not have the standard battery or cover. It only came with the extended battery.

Anyone else seen this?

did they amoled screens?

BTW, i think im the only one that doesnt complain about battery life. i charged my phone to about 95% last night at around 9, let it sit over night, and im still only at 58% at 2pm the next day. i love this phone! now if only i had swype back....

Not to hijack the thread but I totally agree. These phones are mini laptops and for what the INC does, I'm fine with the stock battery. I have a USB charger at my office and a car charger.

I'm not trailblazing in the amazon for weeks on end with no electricity. That being said, it is nice for those who use their phones very very often and don't have the means necessary to plug in the phone nightly that there is an extended battery.

P.S. I miss Swype so much it's not even funny! I downloaded Slide It for now until swype comes back.

ya i saw that. im still a little weary of those cracked versions. but what hell swype waiting for!? just start selling damn thing. i was happy with the expired version and would have happily paid for it.

Swype still has some issue with Froyo on the Incredible. One would assume they want to work out those kinks before they do anything further.

My son feels the same way. Most of the time he goes two full days without recharging. :)

I am the one missing swype.:( I downloaded the new beta and it keeps on telling me that the phone is not the registered one.
My son on the other hand has a replacement phone and didn't have a problem.

I reverted back to shapewriter but I really like swype.

Same thing happened to me with swype. Just uninstall both swype and swype installer and try again if nothing repeat till it works.

Also I have the 2150 battery and although I could get through the day with my 1500, I don't have to worry about anything with the 2150
