Help Behold 2 won't connect to google at all

I got the phone from my sister. I figured out how to change the username for google, but now it is saying that my sim card doesn't support it or something.

I have the correct data plan from t-mobile, I've triple checked

T-mobile is NO help. The girl I spoke with (twice in one day, what are the odds) had NO clue what she was doing and tried to convince me I had the behold (1) - and told me I had to change to a non-android data plan. So I am very frustrated, and I just want google to work!!

Any tips? Anyone up?

check to see if backgound data is on. if that doesnt work then do a master reset

That's funny. You should totally turn to a non-android data plan- $10 a month and then change your APN settings to use the phone I'm having internet issues through the stock browser, but I downloaded xscope Gl browser and internet seems fine. The only thing you wouldn't have is visual voicemail. Also, what suyash1 recommends should work.
