Help how to sync with a mac and turning off 3g?

hey all,

what's the best way to sync up to my imac for basically grabbing photos and videos off this samsung? nothing fancy really.

also, is there a way to turn off the 3g so it doesn't suck down my precious 200mb of data? can i turn on wifi permanently when i actually don't have a wifi connection?

for turning off data i have juice defender and there is a widget that comes with it that will completely turn it off, i just use that

cool, thanks! i assume turning off all data turns off being able to send/receive texts? is there a way to just turn off the internet when i don't want it?

no it just turns off data, not texting or phone calls or any of that(you wont be able to download mms but just toggle it back on), but it just doesnt use any data. i use it for when i dont need anything updated or im not on the internet so there is nothing using it i am unaware of.
