launch navigation from calander

Ok, so in my calander I have an item the notes/description of the appointment has address in it, or phone number how come i cna't click on it and call the number or get the directions?

You can. View item, select address, brings you to map, press flag, select directions. Or navigate.

isn't working

now i am at view event window
i cannot select teh address or phone nujmber listed or copy them. how do you it?

If the text is underlined, if so you can select, of its is not you have done something wrong.

its not underlined. not sure why or howcome. Any ideas what I can do to get it to work?

yes, that would be the case, For this instance,

it is a event for a trip to kentucky next week
the notes field has the hotel and car rental info and the job site in the notes. But I can't select anything in the notes section.

edit: the phone number in the notes section is underlined on one note but not the other, but the address isn't

I have it in both where and notes field and both are underlined. Droid recognizes addresses and phone. Numbers.

Make sure you have spaces where they belong.

the phone is like 18593896800 and is underlined

the address is

1000 export Street
Lexington KY 40504

but the address is not underlined, how is it formated for you?

may need a comma after Lexington.

no luck with the comma, and no luck with it all on one line... Any other thoughts, I appreciate the help

I did a few tests and in every case the address became a clickable link in the notes field of the calendar entry... UNTIL... I changed the first letter of the street name to lower case. Try capitalizing the street name and see if it helps.

Ok so doing the street name didn't do it. UNTIL I edited it using calendar online instead of on the phone I looked up in Google maps the address and entered

1000 Export Street
Lexington, KY 40504

and now it works. This is odd, It seems as if every time its done this has been with events from my outlook at work that syncs to Google calendar, then it does this. odd for sure, plus the capitalization is weird as well.
